ST Format (Jul, 1990)
Thirty quid seems a lot to pay, but the huge box is stuffed with goodies. There's a well-presented, info-packed manual, colour maps and an overlay for your keyboard, making this an excellent investment. If you have the dosh (and it's only a fiver more than most quality games), then go for F-19 Stealth Fighter. You won't be disappointed! [page 42f]
Stealth Fighter has already proved its worth in terms of gameplay and depth with the C64 and PC versions, so it was all down to how effectively flight would be depicted on ST. It's here and it's great. It has all the necessary speed and more besides - better than I hoped - and has enough action to convert non-flight sim enthusiasts. It's been a long wait for the conversions to the popular, games-oriented 16-bits but its been well worth it. A classic sim that's superb value for money.
The One (Jul, 1990)
Fast, smooth and technically sophisticated. In squeezing F-19 Stealth Fighter into the memory on an ST, Microprose has managed to retain all the playability of the 'original' and thrown in an extra plane as well. The game's major advantage is its tactical scope.
The speed and smoothness with which images are rendered is quite admirable, and watching ground details appear gradually as you close on them is realistic, and not jerky as it is in other inferior sims. F-19 was impressive enough on the PC. With their added features, these versions seem set to further establish F-19's claim to being the best serious simulator available for fighter enthusiasts. It gets my vote anyway.

F-19 Stealth Fighter is stunningly fast. Other games crawl at a snail's pace in comparison, and the ground scenery is so detailed it's breathtaking. F-19 is the flight simulator for the ST, combining brilliant tactical gameplay with fast action. A classic to add to the quality games from Microprose.
An impressive sim, made even better value by the usual stack of bumph found inside Microprose's packages, F-19 Stealth Fighter offers an informative and exciting look at the USAF's sneakiest piece of kit.

There are loads of missions, a huge, informative manual, and above all the chance to get really deeply involved. The old adage "the more you put in, the more you get out" is a dead ringer here - read up on all the intricacies and this game will reward you with hours of absorbing fun.
ST Action (Mar, 1993)
Still one of the best ST flight sims even though it's clocking up the years now. Loads of fun to be had by shooting down the enemy.
Power Play (Oct, 1990)

Joie.
Simulation of the Stealth Fighter, it is richly textured and complex (cf. F-117 for a newer version).
