Seu objetivo é ajudar Marty McFly a chegar na máquina do tempo (se você assistiu ao filme, há um belo automóvel Du Lorean) e voltar aos dias de joke, evitando a morte do cientista Doc Brown.

NES Archives (May 10, 2001)
Personally I enjoyed it, but it's not a must have by any means. It can be fun, but it sure is repetitive.

The final sequence has you trying to accelerate the Delorean time machine to 88 mph to get back home to 1985, a difficult task with all the lightning that must be avoided. But odds are that players won’t last that long playing this licensed property with unimaginative gameplay, subpar controls, and annoying, looping music.

BttF is another one of LJN's games that were produced for the sole reason of cashing in on the movie. LJN made a lot of other games like that, most being horrid as well. Don't give in to the power of BttF, stay away at all costs, even if you are a fan of the movie.

Retro Game Reviews (Aug 15, 2015)
Back to the Future screams of a quick cash-in title with little thought put into the gameplay. Almost every part of it is dull and the references to the movie are so shoehorned in that it's hard not to think the license was slapped onto another game at the last minute!

NES Times (Feb 06, 2009)
Overall this game is universally hailed as one of the worst NES titles ever, with very good reason. Everything about this cartridge is poorly done, and overall the developers just failed to capture the sprit of the movie with too many liberties taken. Where in the movie did Marty have to worry about dodging killer hula girls and angry bees? Even if you're a fan of the movie, Back to the Future is one trip through time not worth taking; somebody needs to erase this cart from history.

Every four or five stages, you have to play an aggravating "special" level, throwing root beer at bullies or playing a mournful approximation of music at a high school dance. With insubordinate controls and a soundtrack that will have you gnawing at your own ears, playing Back to the Future is a perfect way to condition yourself to resist torture.

Just Games Retro (Jan 11, 2002)
If you haven't seen the movie Back to the Future, you're really missing out. It's a well-made adventure/comedy about a teenager accidentally sent back in time by a harrowing turn of events, and the machine created by the Doc, played by Christopher Lloyd (still deep in "Reverend Jim acting mode"). It's also the movie that single-handedly made every kid who saw it want a DeLorean. So why is it that with a film so creative, you still get this kind of half-assed crap for a game?

Lens of Truth (Dec 14, 2010)
Like Jaws and Friday the 13th for the NES, LJN took an awesome movie and turned it into an absolute laughing stock of a video game. Gameplay, graphics, and sound are all utterly terrible. Playing Back to the Future actually makes Jaws and Friday the 13th better games…much better games, that’s how bad it is. If I had a Delorean I would travel back in time to 1989 to warn anyone that was about to purchase BTTF to get a root canal instead, or simply light their money on fire. Avoid this game at all costs.

LJN and Beam Software did everything in their power to destroy whatever goodness “Back to the Future” contained. This game doesn’t make any sense, and that’s all folks.
