Description
Last thing you remember, Vicky Vale drugged you and revealed to be Lady Arkham, the leader of Children of Arkham terrorist group. Anything after that is blurry at best. Now, Bruce Wayne wakes in the Arkham Asylum, and not as a guest but an inmate. Turns out he beat Oswald Cobblepot to a pulp after being injected by the new drug, and until he finds a way to flush his system his mind will keep on playing tricks on him. After a couple of inmates bribe the hospital staff to come and visit Bruce and give him a beating, a new character enters the scene and save him. Known only as John Doe to everyone, his green hair, pale face and crazy grin is a dead giveaway to anyone familiar with Batman franchise and his ultimate nemesis. But while in the hospital, John Doe has taken a liking to Bruce Wayne and wants to help him escape, if only because he's bored and wants to see something unpredictable to amuse himself. No stranger to violence, he will give Bruce a chance to try and run for it by enticing a conflict among the inmates.
Once out, Bruce's first task before gearing up as Batman, is to get rid of the drug in his system. Then, it's time to visit Oswald Cobblepot, also known as Penguin, the current CEO of Wayne Enterprises who has found a way to mess with Batman's weapons and gadgets. On the other side, Mayor Dent, one a good friend of Bruce Wayne, has given in to his dark side and a new persona, known as Two Face, is pulling all the strings now. He is determined to fight the Children of Arkham by any means necessary and cares only for results, not collateral damage. What's weird is that many of the police officers seems to be supporting his methods, whether brainwashed or believing in such extreme measures.
Bruce's final battle in the episode let's his go to face either Penguin at Wayne Corporation or Two Face who is trying to seize Wayne Manor. Even Batman cannot be at two places at once, and Catwoman bent her tail and decided to distance herself from all the conflict despite her feelings for Bruce. Left alone, Bruce can only attack one enemy at the time and things are escalating at an alarming rate, spiraling the city of Gotham into destructive chaos.
