DescriptionChildren of Arkham continues the story after the first episode based on player's choices. After dealing with Falcone, Batman is starting to be accepted as a symbol of good by the citizens of Gotham, and based on his approach in the matter, by the police as well. But what Bruce found out in his last encounter with Falcone is that his father might have been one of the three in the power force that shaped and controlled the city of Gotham. The idea of a perfect father shattered to millions of pieces and Bruce is determined to dig as deep as he must to find out if any of the allegations and accusations are true.
The game opens with Bruce standing over the plaque in a dark alley, a place which prompted him to become what he is today. A place where his parents were gunned down in a supposed mugging. Upon reconstructing the crime scene, he realizes that it wasn't just a simple mugging but an assassination. Now things are starting to make a bit more sense, but there are also that more questions that need to be answered.
Batman's encounter with Catwoman in the previous episode continues to build on their relationship here, and if he treats her well and help her deal with her employer's goons he will acquire a powerful ally in the struggle against supernatural and new enemy that is about to emerge from the shadows. Bruce's childhood friend, Oswald, is revealed as the infamous Penguin from the Batman franchise, and he's moving on to bring his so-called revolution to Gotham. Turns out he's more than just a bark and Bruce might have underestimated his old friend as he is now brutal and kills without mercy. He also publicly shows the video of Bruce's father being as evil as one gets and justifies his hatred for Waynes. His battle with Batman is coming, and it's coming soon.
