DescriptionBattle Tryst is Konami's second 3D fighting game. It uses a 3-button control scheme similar to other popular 3D fighting games of the time such as Virtua Fighter or Dead or Alive. Its storyline presents the player's matches as being part of a deathmatch-oriented TV game show and, unusually for an arcade game of its time, presented its story with fully-animated cutscenes scripted by Ghost in the Shell's Mamoru Oshii.
