Non-conformist adventure players will find quite a challenge in Blue Ice. Both, the unique atmosphere of the game, and its complex puzzles will keep players going deeper into the mysteries of Icia.

Blue Ice is definitely not the typical game you are used to playing with; in fact, it is barely possible to compare it with another computer game. While it features elements borrowed from the adventure game's world, it also contains puzzles that will challenge the strongest minds. Through the artistic environment that appeals for all senses, players will have to explore the world of Icia to find how to enlighten Edward LCCXII to the beauty of the world and teach him how to feel sensations.

Blue Ice is a challenge, and like any challenge the pleasure, for those with enough resolve, is in being its equal. Don't expect too many visceral kicks, but for anyone who delights in the art of lateral thinking Blue Ice will give weeks if not months of hardcore puzzle pondering.

As I pointed out at the beginning of this review, Blue Ice is a one of a kind game. I'm not even sure if I liked it. In my opinion it works better as an audiovisual experience -- a beautiful and magical one at that -- than as an adventure game. The puzzle fest part is not really an adventure game at all and I will not even attempt to judge it. My overall rating of Blue Ice is a C- with an important note -- if you can, take a look at this game because you won't see another one like it anytime soon.
