Collapse!

Collapse! is a time-based match-three puzzle game. Randomly colored blocks are filled into a row at the bottom of the screen. Once the row is full, it gets pushed up into the playing field. Players have to click any group of three or more connected blocks of the same color to remove them from the field. Blocks collapse downwards and from the sides to fill up any gaps.

As the player progresses through the levels, rows are filled and pushed up from the bottom with increasing speed. If the blocks in the playing field reach the top row as another row is pushed from the bottom, the game is over.

Higher levels increase the number of block colors, add bombs that eliminate large chunks of the playing field or all blocks of a certain color, and fixed blocks that can only be destroyed by bombs.

Collapse! is a Flash-based browser game which was later released in an extended, downloadable version called Super Collapse!, which was in turn followed by numerous sequels. In contrast to later games in the series, the Flash version does not offer any bonus stages or different game modes. The game simply increases in speed until the player loses.
