Legends of Yore is a 2D top-down simple roguelike RPG, similar to Nethack, Angband or Ancient Domains of Mystery, but with colourful, pixelated graphics. The player can select one from three heroes (magician, archer or warrior), each with their own weapons and abilities. The characters starts in a small village in the mystical land of Yore and goes to underground to raid dungeons. The character has to slay monsters such as skeletons, blobs, snakes etc., gain experience points and equipment. Later in the game he journeys to different towns and new dungeons.
