DescriptionOne and One Story is a game about a relationship between a boy and a girl played as a single-screen puzzle platformer. The player controls a boy (with a blue glow) who can move around, jump and push blocks. To complete a level he has to reach a girl (with a pink glow). Puzzles are presented through deadly heights and spikes. In most of the levels control can be shifted between the boy and the girl to control them separately and have them work together. As the story progresses however, additional gameplay mechanics and limitations are introduced that tie in with the stages in their relationship. For instance, in a certain set of levels the girl will run towards the boy (and possibly into spikes) when they are on the same vertical level. In another, the girl mimics all motions of the boy, or does the opposite (when they have their differences). In most of these the girl cannot be controlled and only through the boy can the level be completed. Other mechanics include a set where the boy cannot jump ("without her, I feel heavy as a rock") and one where they move in the dark. When all levels are completed, a bonus mode is unlocked where two players can go through levels each controlling a character simultaneously.
