Bugs Bunny and Taz: Timebusters is a terrific and most enjoyable game, and is definitely one that older children can master themselves, or parents can help the littilies with and still enjoy themselves.
PlayStationGame Informer Magazine (Feb, 2001)
Time Busters really feels like a Rare game, just not as finely polished. The worlds are huge, minigames are in great abundance, and secrets are everywhere. I never thought I’d hear myself saying this, but here goes nothing. Time Busters is g…g-o-o…goo…good!

For fans of this type of "Super Mario clone" action-adventure, this game is pretty fun! Playing as Taz is just plain fun.
PlayStationIGN (Dec 20, 2000)
Even though the first Bugs Bunny game received favorable reviews from most of the gaming press, I was surprised to find out that I enjoyed playing Bugs Bunny & Taz Time Busters as much as I did. The developers made excellent use of the license and did a splendid job in incorporating the two different characters in the game. Time Busters is a very enjoyable platform game and is definitely something that Looney Tunes fans should pick up.

PlayStationGameSpot (Jan 08, 2001)
Despite its ineffectual audio, Bugs & Taz: Time Busters does an excellent job of capturing the humor and personality that the Looney Tunes franchise embodies. Fans of Lost in Time will have a wonderful time with the sequel, while previous holdouts may find just enough excitement in the dual-persona feature to warrant an impulse purchase.

What harms B&B is also what keeps it from being a flop -- the large scoops taken from so many other platformers ensures that you'll have some fun but predictable experiences. But unfortunately, other than the double-character control scheme, it keeps it from ever stepping out into truly original territory. There's a lot of charm here... just not enough momentum to keep anyone but younger gamers interested.

As much as we're loathed to admit it, we are not adverse to the odd platform game, and although this isn't particularly ground-breaking, it's perfect hangover material, thanks to the fact it's easy on the eye, aimed at five-year-olds and occasionally funny. Bugs Bunny, of course, starred in his own platformer a couple of months back and, apart from the two-player mode and a new bunch of levels, this isn't all that different.

WindowsGameguru Mania (Jan 22, 2001)
The gameplay isn't bad (for kids), only crude 3D graphics/camera craziness a bit sucks.
WindowsAll Game Guide (2000)
Originally released for the PlayStation, game controls are awkward for a PC keyboard. Additionally, the multitude of general and character-specific skills is somewhat daunting, and may be a bit too complex for the target audience of pre-teen cartoon watchers. Control options can be modified at the start of the game. After working through an extensive learning curve, most players will likely find the game worthwhile and enjoyable.
