Commodore Format (Feb, 1991)
The ball movement is excellent, as are the effects the various table features have on the ball. If you like pinball, you'll lurve this. It's only downfall is that your limited to only one table. That said, it's playable and at three quid you really can't go wrong.
Computer and Video Games (CVG) (Jun, 1990)
The 3D turns out to be a weak gimmick, but the action is interesting enough to keep you occupied for a while.
All Game Guide (1998)
Had the developers kept the table flat to the screen, it could have been made to scroll up and down to follow the ball, which would look far more impressive than the 3D trick the game utilizes. Nevertheless 3D Pinball remains a boring effort that shows a lack of inspired design, resulting in a game that's not fun to play.
