Happy Computer (Oct, 1987)
Comics has a lot of humour and is very atmospheric; it's very easy to get the impression that you're actually reading a comic. But as an interactive game it's very limited; your choices are few and far between and do not demand anything like enough thought to make it a real challenge.
Despite being an original and innovative concept, there just isn't enough gameplay...

Sadly three disks, and six sides do not live up to their promise that it will really "show you what getting into a comic book is all about". The promise of great interaction just isn't fulfilled.
My personal feeling, however, is that the game should have gone one direction or another, action or story line. Comics is an intriguing effort, but one needs to enjoy arcade games to get the most out of it. If you're looking for an illustrated mystery, you probably will be disappointed with Comics. But, for a moderately coordinated action game aficionado with a good sense of humor, Comics should be a "Marvel".
