Get hold of this game - it's good (I could do this all day you know).
Although no one of the six games in Aliens US is as involved or challenging as the single game in the European version, as a collection on one disk there is sufficient variation, challenge and gameplay to keep most gamers happy and frustrated for many a long night.
ALIENS ist nicht viel besser, als die meisten vorherigen Anläufe zur Umsetzung eines Filmstoffes auf einen Homecomputer. Na gut, die Grafik und der Sound sind in Ordnung, aber die Spielideen und deren programmiertechnische Ausführung lassen stark zu wünschen übrig. Alles in allem; Wenn man HACKER und MASTER OF THE LAMPS nicht besitzt und an die Originalität eines Programmes keine zu hohen Anforderungen stellt, ist man auch mit ALIENS recht gut bedient, von Activision/Electric Dreams hätte ich aber mehr erwartet.

Even though this game is graphically very good (especially the briefing screens), it's too darn tough. I defy anyone to complete the dropship scene in their first few goes. Frustration is a swift and deadly opponent. A pity 'coz this game could have been a winner.

The English version was by far the better of the two; Aliens US tends to rely on its excellent presentation to cover up the low standard of the six sublevels. Take my advice and stay with the immensely superior original.

Die Spielmotivation ist anfangs echt hoch, denn man will ja alle Abschnitte kennenlernen. Wenn man erst einmal komplett durchgekommen ist, hat man aber wenig Verlangen, die gesammelten Werke nochmals durchzuspielen. Super Aliens hält leider nicht, was der pompöse Titel verspricht. Hinter der Masse der Spiel-Szenen verbirgt sich wenig Klasse. Mittelmaß statt Aliens-Spaß für Action-Fans - das mehr strategiebetonten englische Aliens-Programm hat uns besser gefallen.
