Info (Jul, 1990)
The background graphics and sound aren't too bad, but the animation and movement of Artura and his adversaries is jerky and stilted. Also included is a big fold-out map of Morgause's stronghold to aid you in your quest. I had more fun trying tol fold up the map than playing this game.
Commodore User (Dec, 1988)
Artura is a rather ordinary game dressed up with a few frills. It's a must for axe throwing rat lovers everywhere, but others should approach with care.
The Games Machine (UK) (Jan, 1989)
Hungry arcade-adventurers may be interested in this unimaginative and simply executed game.
Commodore Computing International (Feb, 1989)
There are some sound effects, though these consist of a few indistinct noises and a soundtrack that is interesting when you first hear it, but had me reaching for the "off-button" within a few minutes.
