The Blob with a conscience. Bod the alien saves the day in this brill arcade platformer.

The Bod Squad is a very neat game, it's got to be said. It has marvellous animation and rather spiffy gameplay. The levels are big and taxing, too. True, you might not be amazingly enthralled because it's yet another cutesy (and we've seen a lot of those recently?), but you can't deny that it oozes quality. For the measly sum of £3.99 (unless your Roger) you're getting an impressive game indeed. In fact, the thing that's stopping it from being a Corker is there are only three levels. Five would be almost perfection!
Commodore Force (Oct, 1993)
There's lastability aplenty but patience is required - you really have to feel your way along slowly to avoid a sticky and deflating end. There's enough in Bod Squad, however, to keep you at it for some time - just keep plenty of throwable objects to hand...
