Much use is made of the Nutcracker Suite; coupled with the ability to select the painter's gender and we have a program well suited to the family. A good example of its kind and another excellent import from State Soft.
Info (Jan, 1984)
Bristles is a really fast, almost frenzied arcade game in the classic tradition of Pakman, Dig-Dug, etc. There's lots of close timing, bold moves, near-misses and things moving in all directions. Painting the rooms, and riding the elevators while avoiding assorted nuisances will set you spinning - up to 4 players.
Personal Computer Games (Jan, 1985)
It's not the graphics and it's not the sound that makes Bristles a good game - so what is it? I'll tell you. It's a new and original idea, with the option of four people playing the game. It offers very good family entertainment.
