While entering an alternative title I've noticed nearly identical games (compare screenshots). Should they be entered as mere re-releases or do they differ significantly? Can someone test them?

Not sure about All Star but from the HOL entry for Allan Border's:

"[1] Australian version of Audiogenic's best-selling cricket game, GRAHAM GOOCH WORLD CLASS CRICKET (see link above).

[2] Game incorporates domestic Sheffield Shield competition teams (presently known as the Pura Cup), as well as international test teams.

[3] Exclusively manufactured and distributed in Australia by Home Entertainment Suppliers (HES)."

Thanks for the link, but please compare that gb64 entry with 16-bit game of that title - the 8bit version has little in common but looks nearly identical to previous Graham Gooch's Test Cricket. I wouldn't group it with those 16bit releases.

Oops, I did not check the MG entry actually (so I did not see it was 8-bit only).

Anyway, it was just to point you towards the fact that both were regional variations of the same game.

99% sure it is the same for the C64 version. In the AB's entry on Lemon 64 there is a comment that asks the same question: http://www.lemon64.com/?mainurl=http%3A//www.lemon64.com/games/details.php%3FID%3D93
