All Game Guide (1998)
Omni-Play Basketball is one of the best basketball games for the Commodore 64. Overall gameplay is not as involved as other basketball games but the feel of actually running a team is here. With expansion packs allowing you to actually add pro and college players the game has very high replay value.
Computer and Video Games (CVG) (Sep, 1989)
Only available on disk, and the loader is very slow. It's got all the Amiga's features, options and playability, and should appeal both to dedicated basketball fans and sports sim enthusiasts.
Power Play (Dec, 1989)
Computer Gaming World (CGW) (Nov, 1989)
The manual was found to be extremely thorough. The game play as well as the real-life aspects of the game seem to be covered completely. Overall, this game is a must for the sports simulation and statistical buff as well as the multi-player game fan. The game also takes into account whether the player is a "joystick jockey" or not and allows a set-up where strategy is the main concern. Considering the expandability factor and the flexibility in game play, SportTime's Omni-Play Basketball is tops!
