There's quite a lot of analysis and cross-checking to do throughout the investigation. It's absorbing stuff and rewarding when you make discoveries. The pace is slow, but it's not a game that you'll want to rush - it requires plenty of time and thought to get through.
Sonics are near nonexistant and constant disk swapping quickly becomes a bore. Nevertheless, the depth and interest within The President is Missing is such that those of you with an adventure bent should get a great deal of enjoyment from attempting to solve the dastardly crime.
Despite these few difficulties, this is an extremely large and impressive program, well thought out and thoroughly researched, offering many hours of intrigue and investigation.
The President Is Missing is a game that starts out with an exciting premise, an interesting plot, and wellplanned graphics, but ends up as a poorly executed program. The game will simply prove not to be worth the trouble to most players. Extremely experienced players who enjoy tough games might be delighted by the potential challenge, but the game has simply too much dead-time to be truly exciting or for players to maintain their initial enthusiasm.
