That said, Wolfman is another chilling episode in adventure horror.
The game itself is certainly worth playing, and the many people who have enjoyed Rod's previous games, should not be put off for the moment by the anti-horror hysteria being worked up over this, and CRL's earlier Jack the Ripper.
Zzap! (May, 1988)
The three parts together with the great storyline and absorbing text make Wolfman a must for all adventurers, even if the graphics are little over the top.

In Wolfman, Rod Pike's touch is getting surer. Wolfman is a sure-fire winner. He has done it again - only better.
However, what little I did see was not quite up to the standards of Rod's previous work and although there was plenty of text to ingest, the instant magic of Dracula and Frankenstein was just not present. Having said that, Wolfman is still a lot better than most utility-written adventures and the three parts make it good value for money.
Ohgottogott!
