Catan: Die Erste Insel is an adaptation of the popular board game The Settlers of Catan. It features a 3D environment that simulates playing the board game against several AI opponents. After a simple introduction to the gameplay, a campaign of 12 missions is waiting for the player. Several of these missions were developed by the board game designer . Some free game variants of the board game and the expansion Die Seefahrer (The Seafarers of Catan) are also included. Multiplayer is available on the same computer or over a LAN or internet for up to 6 players.
