Description

Using hardwired controllers, two players face off in Nintendo's take on the table tennis genre. The main objective is to bounce a ball off your paddle, and past your opponent's to score points. Unlike some of its 1970s contemporaries, Color TV-Game 15 allowed users to switch between a variety of game modes including, Tennis, Hockey, Volleyball, Ping Pong and "Shooting Game."

While most of the games were very similar to each other, some such as Hockey, added obstacles that the ball could ricochet off of. Additionally users can adjust the speed of the game and the size of the individual paddles for a more customized experience.

The Color TV-Game 15S is the first release of the Color TV-Game 15 and is predominantly yellow. A second, revised version of the CTG15, known as the 15V, had minor improvements and can be easily distinguished from the original by its dark orange/red color.
