Computer Gamer (Oct, 1986)
The graphics are much more complex, making full use of the Amstrad's sprite capabilities and colour and the status display is different too. The passage of time is represented by the Earth being gradually eaten away and messages are displayed in cartoon-style box inserts. Unlike the Spectrum game Dan's energy cannot be recharged, making avoidance of injury a top priority. This evocation of caution is counter-balanced against the time limit, making the game harder to play. Progress was slower than in the Spectrum game and I shudder to think what perils lie in the levels which I've yet to reach.
