This game was made after teenager Andrew Collett sent in a request to TV show Jim'll Fix It (in which presenter Jimmy Savile attempted to bring children's dreams to fruition) to develop his idea for a game set in a Supermarket. The show's makers contacted Mastertronic who programmed the design into a finished product and marketed it.
