L'adaptation est fort bien réalisée et le jeu passionnant. Un must.

Ce simulateur de vol va vous permettre de revivre cette mission avec un réalisme technique et historique parfait.

Your target is Germany's dam system, the object is to blow them out of the water. The result is the destruction of the military and industrial infrastructure of the German war machine. Dam Busters is not just another flight simulation with added special effects. During the game you have to play the part of the pilot, front and rear gunners, bomb aimer, navigator and engineer. You must do all that while flying through enemy territory, continually lit by searchlights while being buffeted by flak.

The graphics are excellent and well above the standards of a normal simulator and the sound is marvellous too. Overall this is one of the most gripping flight simulators to hit the market and certainly rises above most in its class.

Very impressive with a superb Lancaster Bomber sound. A nice touch graphically is a view of the lights from town and cities as you fly over. Instrument panels are excellently drawn but seem lacking in movement. Having great instant appeal this should be a commercial success but I think it could get rather boring in time.

Flight simulators always get indifferent reviews in the computer press with cries of 'oh no! please don't give me another flight simulator to review' being heard from the Editor's private suite in our office where he deals out the day's assignments. But Dambusters has some point to it rather than just to fly around in circles. Great idea, great game.

An arcade recreation of the bombing of the Ruhr Dams a la 633 Squadron. Definitely dated; too much of a game and not enough of a simulation.

Dam Busters was a difficult game to review, even harder to play. The instructions read like a military operations manual, and come with plenty of extra "official" looking documentation (makes me sleepy just to look at it). The apparent objective of this first-person simulation is to fly a fighter plane over enemy territory and blow up dams. Each button on the keypad brings up a different view, similar to the scheme used by B-17 Bomber on the Intellivision. Unfortunately, the game takes place entirely at night, so there's not much to see except a bunch of white pixel "lights". The controls are extremely complicated and require hours to master. Dam Busters is one of those titles for people who love to pore over details. Personally I found it to be hopelessly confusing and dull.
