Description
DD Poker 2 is an updated version of the original
DD Tournament Poker, a Poker game simulating the
No Limit Texas Hold'em variant.
The biggest change is the addition of a multiplayer mode. Just like in the previous game's
Tournament mode (now relabelled "Practice") it allows to play various pre-defined tournaments such as the "World Campionship '05" or create a custom one by setting things like the number and level of players, buy-in, rebuys, add-ons and blind levels.
Further noteworthy changes in this version include the addition of new opponent AIs and advisors, player statistics and an odds calculator tool.
The Poker Night mode, a helper tool for physical poker games with other people, is available again, in addition to the known in-game help system and some cheat options for learning, e.g. to show the winning hand or take a peek at the opponent's cards (only available in "Practice" mode of course).

Missing platforms on retail disc
The retail version is listing Mac and Linux as supported platforms everywhere, including system requirements, trademark information and detailed installation instructions in the manual. Unfortunately the disc itself only contains the Windows version of the game... At least the Activation Code would also work when using it with the downloaded demo versions for those platforms.
