Game & Watch Gold: Manhole is the first game in the second series of Game & Watch games published by Nintendo, also known as the Gold Series. The gold series is also the first G&W series to feature the kickstand/"crutch" for people who wanted to use the alarm/clock functions of the G&W games.

The gameplay features a character, using simple plates, to help people crossing the road unharmed at two different heights/levels. With time the frequency of people and their speed will increase. Game B, doesn't set itself apart from Game A, apart from more people crossing the roads at the beginning and a quicker onset of pace and frequency of people. The game Manhole is the first G&W to ever feature an extra live bonus system. Every 200 or 500 points (depending on the game-type), a little tune will indicate that one or more "misses" will be forgiven.
