Detective Gallo, a hard-boiled private investigator, a rooster, no less, with one thousand rules of how to be a P.I. but none of the cases to put the rules to practice. One day, an eccentric millionaire come to his door to ask for help. Gallo, as broke as he is and late on the rent, has no choice but to accept, even quicker once he sees the client waving an obscene amount of money for a case of low profile. Someone murdered all the plants in the client's mansion and Gallo is about to find out who and why, which in turn will lead him to uncover a dangerous conspiracy and shocking culprit.
In this classic point-and-click adventure game, Gallo can talk to various characters, pick up and us items, and move from location to location while searching for the truth. There are around 10 different locations in total, some of which are scrollable as they cover more than a single screen. Dialogues are color-marked which depict new and depleted dialogues as same dialogue choices can be selected many times over. Inventory appears on the top of the screen and each item can be looked at, picked up to use, or combines with another item. Trying anything-on-everything may not always work since ability to combine some items or click on some object are tied to a situation at hand and a specific time in the game (i.e. the player may combine two items only when Gallo gets to the point of actually needing such item, not before).
There is no direct hint system in the game, but Gallo can use his mobile phone to call his informant which will generally inform him on how to do the task that Gallo is currently trying to accomplish, without giving too much specifics to an actual solution. Gallo is also carrying his silent partner with him, a female cactus named Thorn, whom he occasionally asks for advice.
