The Good
Blue Byte has a tradition of making good add-ons, and this one is no exception. Titan's Legacy features a new, independent story line along with several cutscenes, improved multiplayer support along with new maps and seven new units.
The add-on also removes some of the bugs of the original version and greatly improves the speed of the AI.
Some open ends of the original story are tied up in the add-on - the partisan leaders that caused so much trouble in the original game finally get what they deserve.
In the missions there are more scripted events, like a river falling dry for several turns during low tide.
The Bad
One of the mission was just unfair, because the AI had the possibility to move it's units out of the map (!), thus going around the front line and attacking from behind. Also, the bug that enabled artillery units to attack map decoration elements in the original was removed - but that makes it completely impossible to beat the original game with the add-on installed, as the last blocking obstacle on before the entrance to Titan-Net's HQ can't be destroyed any longer.
The Bottom Line
This is a well done, worthy add-on for a good game, making it even better. If you liked Battle Isle 2, then you should not miss this one.
