Adrenaline Vault, The (AVault) (Sep 12, 1997)
Despite its flaws, the Plasma Pak is loads of fun. The original Blood now seems incomplete without all the great new monsters and weapon firing modes -- they really add that much, and help round out the new Lovecraftian feel. If you have Blood, pick up the Plasma Pak. You'll be sorry if you don't.
Computer Games Magazine (1997)
The most surprising thing about the Plasma Pak is that it was created by Blood's original level designers. But there is no sign of the creativity and talent that went into Blood's surreal and inspired first episode or the devilishly clever multiplayer levels like The Fortress or Fun with Heads. Instead, the Plasma Pak looks like an assembly of the stuff that ended up in the designers Recycled bin, which is where it belongs.
