A refreshing experience.

The Good
Different from Martin Magnusson's other games of meaningless violence, 1 Ton and the first chickens game (they both can race each other in their pointless gameplay) this game is a special one. First of all, it has a plot (a war between human race and chickens!) and a goal to be achieved (need to say what it is?) which I guess make the game a real experience for the players, err, at least for me :) And it has great gameplay. Probably you can ask me like "How can you like a game like this? Isn't it disgusting?" Out there many terrible bloody terror had happened (and still continues) and I can like such a violence? Well, isn't it ironic? I really don't know the answer and I guess I don't want to know it either. It's such a meaningless world where I don't know why I'm living and for what reason. What for ALL then? Just at this point, for me, I think I need a break with a computer game like Chickens 2 that can comfort me, makes me forget the world at least for a couple of minutes. All of us have such escapes from life, haven't we? And this is one of them, one of mine. But it is "a bit" different, it features "mindless" violence and that violence is the only reason for all these thoughts I write. Bullshit? "Violence" is not a new issue and probably will never come to an end. I like playing Chickens 2, what can I say? And I must say that in real life I can't even dare to see any blood and since "absolutely NO chickens were harmed in the production of this game!" and it's such a entertaining game which features no "real" blood, I guess there is no reason for me not to play it anymore...

The Bad
"The biggest issue is what violent entertainment does to children. This is what everyone has a problem with and rightfully so, children are the most easily influenced." says Rob Elam, the developer of the great One Must Fall 2097 game and I totally agree with him (Read more in his article about vilolence at http://www.omf.com/html/soap/rob/ViolenceInGames.html) And this is such a game everyone can play. It's an another big issue, with both sides; not only in freeware or shareware games of course, also in the commercial games, in the whole entertainment industry...

The Bottom Line
Well, definitely better than 1 Ton and the first chickens game. If only the hi-score list could have showed the number of kills near our points, that would be great I think :) Just think my highest score, 397700! 8-)
