Copy protection

At least some release use a hardware dongle as copy protection - in addition to a traditional manual lookup.

Music

Unusually among PC games, the MOD music format is used. This music format was incredibly popular on the Amiga, and produced some of the best computer game music of the late eighties/early nineties.

Because the game's music is stored in MOD format, it means you can listen to the files in any MOD-compatible media player (e.g. Winamp).
