Double Deuce Poker
Description
Double Deuce Poker is a variant of video poker, a casino game usually played on terminals. It uses a 52 card deck with no jokers. The main objective is to get a winning poker hand. The first phase involves betting an amount of tokens between one and five and dealing the first five cards. The player can choose to hold any number of these cards. In the second round the discarded cards will be replaced with new ones from the deck. If there is a winning combination among the final cards, the player receives a reward according to the paytable at the top. Unlike other versions of video poker, this game offers a bonus whenever there is one or more deuces (cards of 2) in the winning hand.
All the usual winning poker hands are accepted, with some minor alterations:
- Jacks or Better (one pair as long as it's Jacks or higher)
- Two pair
- Three of a kind
- Straight (five cards with consecutive ranks from at least two suits)
- Flush (five cards of the same suit, not in any kind of sequence)
- Full house (three cards of the same rank plus a pair of another)
- Four of a kind
- Straight flush (five cards with consecutive ranks from the same suit)
- Royal flush (10, J, Q, K, A, all of the same suit)
