Atari 8-bitElectronic Fun with Computers & Games (Mar, 1984)
The graphics are excellent and once you get the hang of it, Drelbs is a challenging game. A little less luck would have made for a little more interest, though.
Commodore 64Commodore User (Jan, 1985)
Drelbs is that rare thing these days - a different computer game. Play commences in a maze at the centre of the Drelbs Kingdom. The maze is made up of swing-gates that change their position as you move through them. (...) Once you have been to the bonus screen the round starts again. There are eight different rounds altogether: Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, Topaz, Peridot, Agate and Amethyst. Fun to play and commendably different.
Commodore 64Personal Computer Games (Jan, 1985)
There are a few original features in this game which are immediately endearing. However, you can't help thinking they could have taken the idea a bit further and made a truly novel game. Interesting sound effects, well presented - pity about the lasting interest.
