Near death, you've been given a chance to return to the land of the living, if you could keep it a secret that one of the Valkyries herself sought to give you that chance. You wake up at the back of a carriage, with your lovely readhead wife overjoyed to see you alive, and her father, the village earl, driving a carriage. At first you are limited to just looking around and raising your hands to show that your strength hadn't completely forsaken you. As you arrive at the village you find it smoldering with nothing but ruins. You exit the coach and listen to your earl for next course of action. It is obvious that you need to regroup and seek a new place for giant is roaming these lands and it is not safe to stay and rebuild.
This VR game consists of basic walking and hand moving actions where hands are either empty or holding something like bow or a torch which is when using them is put to use. Aside the basic actions there are occasional context-based actions such as steering a horse or using bow and arrow during when hunting deers. Rotation is done by degrees and doesn't support seamless sideway rotation as you walk or when looking with your VR helmet, but the degrees of rotation jumping can be set from around 20 to 90 degrees. Most of the game consists simply of walking around exploring, solving occasional puzzles, and answering to questions by simply nodding your head for yes or shaking it for no. There is no prompted action for doing so and waiting too long will default to you not answering.
The game uses detailed but cartoonish 3D style and varies in locales from forest and lakes to mountains and caverns. Occasional action scenes appear, such as sliding past the giant or skimming the edge past the swinging blades, but there is no actual fighting or jumping to do and the game sticks to being just an adventure with focus on linear exploration and narration.
