Fire Away!
Description
Fire Away! is a two-player, freeware, keyboard controlled game. In this game the players’ characters face each other as in a duel and blast away with their weapons alternately ducking in and out of a hiding position, while hiding a player cannot be hit but neither can they fire. Eventually one or other player dies, the kill count is increased, the player is resurrected and the game continues.
The game was created using Klik & Play and has three scenarios:* Gangsta Wars: The two players have standard pistols and it takes multiple hits to kill either of them, the shots are not that accurate
-
Heavy Firepower: One player uses a bazooka which is accurate, the other some kind of laser which is not accurate. One hit is all it takes to kill.
-
Reality Sucks: The player on the right has a pistol and must hit their opponent ten times to score a kill, the player on the left has a ray gun and can kill with one shot
This game was included on a compilation CD and was one of the few programs that had to be installed before it would run. It plays in either a window or full screen, there is no high score table and no single player option.
