This version of Addams Family Values was released on two contemporary for the time consoles. GEN version is inferior and it was released in 1994. SNES version is superior, and it was released in 1995. This page http://www.mobygames.com/game/addams-family-values/release-info says that GEN version was "ported". But where from? Any ideas?

Also, approvers don't keep information that accompanies contributions of other people, do they?

The only thing I know is that the Genesis credits say "Converted by Teque".

I believe "converted by" refers to original Music composed by Keith Tinman.

You're right, the placement of the credit wouldn't make sense otherwise. Also it's "Original Music" on Genesis, but only "Music" on SNES.

"Ported by" to be changed to "Original Music converted by" in GEN release info?

Looks like the Genesis release year is wrong, that should be 1995 too. So the SNES version is then the original, the Genesis version the port.

A brief search didn't justify your point... Do you have any proof of this?

1995 copyright on the box, mid-to-late 1995 reviews in magazines.

True :)

But take a look at this: http://www.cvgm.net/demovibes/artist/182/ Are we still talking about "Teque London Ltd."?

Also, if SNES was the first one, why it's music isn't "original"? Smth to do with sound driver maybe?

upd: or those guys may be mistaken too.

It's an Ocean game so it's more likely that the SNES version was the original one. After all they did more games for Nintendo's console than the Genesis back then.
