Germany's Next Topmodel is a licenced game of the German television show of the same name. You play as one of the ten finalists who have made it into the final round and are just one step close to start you big model career. At the beginning of the game you are moving in to your new home, the model loft. It is the game's central location from where you can move freely around, receive useful tips from your coach and talk to the other candidates to make up a weekly schedule for this you can use a pda like tool to set up your fixed dates during the five day working week.
The main goal in the game is to train the for disciplines "Make-Up", "Fashion", "Photo Shooting" and "Catwalk" in the form of four mini games and present the results to a jury by the end of the working week, and eventually to become the next top model. Furthermore, the members of the jury will ask you five questions about the model world which you have to answer correctly in 30 seconds.
During a photo shooting exercise you see yourself posing in one Nintendo DS screen while you are redrawing a couple of given symbols in the other screen. In the catwalk exercise it's basically the same, only now you draw two foot symbols in addition which represent the poses of your model character that you have to complete on the catwalk.
