Glasshouse
Description
Glasshouse is a student project made for the BIT:IMD program at Carleton University draws inspiration from Portal and the gravity gun from Half-Life 2.
Set in an abandoned environment, it consists of a connected set of levels with puzzles. These require platform jumping, pushing buttons, but most importantly activating switches by placing cubes on platforms. This is done using a gun that is able to push and pull objects. Next to the cubes, it can also used on other objects such as crates to stack them. There is an unlimited amount of tries per level, and there are no enemies except for the last level, where sentry guns are introduced.
Optionally, the game can be played with commentary from the developers. The game runs on the in-house developed Glasshouse engine.
