Her Story is an FMV adventure game starring Viva Seifert in a leading (and only) role. The game's story starts with her character reporting a disappearance of her husband, one Simon Smith. The player's job is to solve the case of the husband's disappearance by finding enough video clips of each of her seven police interviews. Needless to say, all is not what it seems at first glance.

The gameplay consists of a player looking at these video clips and discovering hidden words or phrases in them. Those words or phrases can then be typed into an in-game search engine, and doing so will uncover up to five video clips containing that word or phrase in them. This kind of gameplay makes for a decidedly nonlinear experience, with the player being able to discover every single one of video clips from the get-go, depending on the keywords chosen.

An interesting use of the medium, but a conclusion? I leave that to you, as does the game. Windows Cavalary (10407)
