In this entirely textual superhero game, the player gets to customize story-relevant attributes of a Power user -- sex, sexual orientation, motivation -- and then parachutes them into this would-be hero's life story, leaving behind their unglamorous day job as a tester for virtual reality Power simulators and hitting the vigilante scene with the DRPR (Department for the Regulation of Powered Resources) license their grandma bought them for their birthday.
The player is then thrown into the milieu of the West Coast metropolis of Millennia City, chasing down a powerful object -- The Gravitas -- that has been stolen for Smythr, the leader of MC's organized crime syndicate. But rivals are also on the trail -- not only the police, but other Powers such as Jury, son of the judge who sentenced the player's Powered parents, The Sound and The Fury, to The Devoid, a maximum security prison, after their accidental killing of the Powered criminal Miss Artillery. (Yes, like every great superhero comic, whole issues of soap opera plot are shoehorned in here to lend this setting its own distinct flavour.) The plot is muddled with one of three sidekicks, criminal underlings, the turf wars of the Ani-gangs of the Eastern Fringes, the player's MeChip (an invisible AI), a romantic interest and avenue to MC's Powered establishment, superhero paparazzi, and more.
Players advance the story by choosing from multiple-choice selections at regular intervals, resulting in changes to numerous statistics tracked in the background, and specifically Power and Health levels, tapped into when using superpowers (this hero can fly and emit bolts of force) and having them used against the player.
The game is available for local computer play (through the Chrome web browser) through purchase from the Chrome Web Store and is also available for the Amazon Kindle among more conventional mobile iOS and Android devices.
