Hotel Tycoon

Hotel Tycoon is a managerial game in which the player takes on the role of a tycoon in charge of a hotel business chain. The player starts out with a single hotel and can assign staff and determine the amenities that are available to the guests. Staff needs training and hotels need constant repairs to keep in good shape.

The player makes money from guests that stay in the hotel. The player can assign different stay rates for every day of the year and launch marketing campaigns to boost customers. The game also informs the player when various special events occur in the city in which the hotel is placed.

The player can expand to build or buy more hotels in various cities in the fictional game world. The whole game is presented through various dialogue screens with iconic graphics and a 2D world map.
