DescriptionInterstellar Flames is a side-scrolling shoot-em-up game for mobile devices. The goal stays the same - blast through the hordes of enemies and obstacles on your way and reach the level exit. Here, you control the last remaining space fighter and fly along the surface of huge motherships taking out both enemy vessels and ground installations.
The first thing that stands out is a perspective. The game is not scrolling in horizontal or vertical direction, but is seen from a third person perspective, in 3D. The gameplay still stays true to the genre, as you can only move up and down or left and right; forward movement is controlled automatically, there's an autofire option as well. Another difference is that you can reverse your flight direction and go back if needed.
Interstellar Flames features fully textured polygonal graphics with mipmapping and particle effects for all devices. It can be controlled with just a stylus on touchscreen devices or with hardware buttons as well.
