16-bit Trader

You are the child of a traveling merchant. One day, as you await news of your father's return, you receive news of his death. You have come to realize that this is why the rich merchant, Van Talodd, went into a partnership with your father, so that he, himself, would not have to face such hardships and can simply live off of your father's hard work. Killing Van Talodd would not be good enough. What you truly need to do to avenge your father is become even richer that Van Talodd. Very well, that is what you will do!

16bit Trader is a trading simulation game. Go into the local marketplace and buy goods then travel to another town and sell your goods for higher than you bought them for. Go into the local tavern and hire mercenaries to guard your goods while you travel or buy a drink for the locals to catch the latest gossip, which may or may not be helpful. Enter old mines to find jewels to trades for more money. Eventually, you can buy a second wagon and start a caravan and a company, on your way to great wealth.
