Description official description
a new life. is a short visual novel about two women who meet and experience attraction, putting the player in the position of making decisions that will give them the longest life together. But it's not a dating sim, where the player chooses a possible romantic partner and then tries to get that character to like them. Instead, love between the two protagonists is more of a guarantee and the player must make various life decisions, like whether to see a doctor, that will affect the overall outcome of the characters' lives. Progress is indicated by chapters written down in a notebook, which are also story points that the player can jump to instead of having to replay the entire game. There are multiple endings but the "true" ending is the one where the list of chapters is filled out and the page in the notebook is turned.
