DescriptionCardboard Castle is a logic puzzle game that sees you control a nameless knight on his quest to save a damsel in distress. The game is divided into five sections which get progressively harder, starting from a quick tutorial level, and ending in a race against the clock.
There is no inventory system, with all of the controls to solve the puzzles being spread out about the landscape in front of you. The interface is kept simple as the game was originally designed to be played on the iPhone and iPad, and subsequently Android handheld devices.
The graphical style is quite unique, with all characters and props appearing to be hand-drawn and animated on individual pieces of cardboard, floating over a similarly designed background.
There is a built-in clue system that uses sovereigns for its currency; these are hidden throughout each level in the game.
