GameZebo (Mar 07, 2016)
Clash Royale is one of those rare games that not only gets everything right, but does so while trailblazing a new formula for mobile games. Whether you love or loathe Clash of Clans, Clash Royale is a worthy addition to any mobile gamer’s home screen playlist. Multiplayer experiences on mobile rarely get as good as this.

Clash Royale is a heck of a package. Top to bottom, it's an extremely fun experience that is so well put together it's hard to put down.
Touch Arcade (Mar 02, 2016)
I encourage everyone to give this game a try, even if you’re a vigilant hater of free to play. Monetization methods aside, you’ll still be able to see what a clever formula Supercell has stumbled upon to here with this hybrid of card games, strategy games, and MOBAs. Hard limits on session time make it a phenomenal game to play on the go, and it can be played in portrait mode in one hand which only serves to make things easier. In less than a day it’s the top free app, and steadily climbing up the top grossing charts, so if you dig this style of gameplay but don’t particularly like certain things about Clash Royale (like chest timers or whatever else) just wait a while. The sad reality is it won’t be long before there are as many variations of Clash Royale on the App Store as there are Clash of Clans.
3D Juegos (Mar 21, 2016)
Pocket Tactics (Mar 10, 2016)
Sad, but it's an effective and instructional metaphor for the direction mobile gaming seems to be going. So Clash Royale sticks us in a bind. Enjoy this excellent game and hasten the demise of the things we love, or miss out on a cracking strategy game and stick to our principles? On the assumption that I'm in too tiny a minority that cares about the latter, I'm going to have to recommend we all go with the former.
