Development

Fastlane Street Racing was originally developed as Chicane for the ill fated Gizmondo portable gaming device. The game was finished but never released. When the development studio was taken over by a new owner it was decided to port the game to the PSP console. But the owners changed their minds and cancelled the game after a while. Finally, the development studio bought the rights to the game and ported the game to the then new iPhone platform.
