Description official descriptions

Pacific Wings is a vertically scrolling shooter similar to Capcom's 1942, both in gameplay and style. The aim of the game is as simple as in any shooter: shoot down the enemy planes and avoid getting shot down. Movement can be done by dragging the plane around on the touch screen but it is also possible to use an on-screen d-pad, a trackpad or tilt control. Shooting is done automatically. For each enemy shot down the player gets between 10 and 500 points. When getting hit he loses a life but he can get an extra life by reaching 5,000 points. Some enemies drop power-ups when shot down. They increase the fire power.
