DescriptionPudding Monsters is a casual puzzle game from the company that created Cut the Rope and it features a similar cute graphical style. The game stars little puddings that want to escape the fridge and grow larger and larger, probably taking over the world.
The goal of each level is to bring all the individual puddings on screen together to form one monstrous pudding. This is done by sliding them vertically or horizontally while taking care that they do not fall off the screen. There are usually some obstacles that block the movement, so the player needs to come up with a strategy to combine the puddings. As the game goes on new puddings are introduced: a sleeping pudding that can't move on it's own, puddings that only move together in a group, a magnet pudding, a slimy pudding that leaves a trail etc. The backdrop changes as well: from the kitchen table to neighborhood and to sky view - this reflects the game's idea of puddings growing to monstrous sizes.
There are several ways to beat a level. Each level has three star tiles, and finishing the level with puddings on those tiles yields the most coins (which are used to unlock new levels and buy hints). Finishing a levels with two, one or zero puddings on star tiles brings less coins, but it is still a source of income and it is needed to fully complete a level.
